Young and the Restless sees a dramatic week unfold as Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) spirals out of control. The stress caused by Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), and other sources pushes Jack to the brink, leading to a relapse into addiction. Complications arise as Nikki, fighting her own demons, triggers Jack's downfall. The fallout between Diane and Nikki is expected to be explosive, further driving a wedge between the Abbott and Newman families.
In the midst of all this, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) is unraveling, and the kidnapping of Jack's grandson, Harrison Locke (Redding Munsell), adds to his woes.
