In this DataDive podcast episode, Abraham interviews Dr. Nina Vasan. Dr. Vasan is the Chief Medical Officer of Real, a mental healthcare startup that raised $37 million in their Series B round. She graduated from Harvard Medical School and got her MBA from Stanford's Graduate School of Business. Dr. Vasan also founded the Stanford Brainstorm Lab, the first academic lab to combine disciplines of technology, medicine, and entrepreneurship to empower innovative mental healthcare solutions. In addition, she has served as a healthcare advisor to the UN and the Obama presidential campaign. Abraham and Dr. Vasan had a conversation about how she got interested in psychiatry, the eight-part framework for mental healthcare innovation that she and the Brainstorm team developed, working alongside social media companies like Pinterest to improve their algorithm design, and much more!
