Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” Romans 12:1-2 RESULTS OF A RENEWED MIND 1. Your Way Of Living Life Changes (V.1) “I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.” “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” 2 Corinthians 5:17 “For to me, living means living for Christ, and dying is even better. Philippians 1:21 “But if I live, I can do more fruitful work for Christ. So I really don’t know which is better.” Philippians 1:22 “My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” Galatians 2:20 2. Your Perspective In Life Changes (V. 2b) “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” “How I praise the Lord that you are concerned about me again. I know you have always been concerned for me, but you didn’t have the chance to help me. Not that I was ever in need, for I have learned how to be content with whatever I have. I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength. Even so, you have done well to share with me in my present difficulty.” Philippians 4:10-13 “And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19 3. Your Behavior In Life Changes (V.9-21) “Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.” (21) “Throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life, which is corrupted by lust and deception.” Ephesians 4:22 “Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes.” Ephesians 4:23 “Put on your new nature, created to be like God—truly righteous and holy.” Ephesians 4:24 Declaration Of Faith • God Is For Me And Not Against Me • God Equips Me For Every Stage In Life • God Created Me To Be Successful • God Is My Sustainer And Nothing Will Defeat Me • God Is My Provider And I Will Lack Nothing • God Will Never Leave Me Nor Abandon Me • I Believe In God, I Believe God & I Trust God! ............................
