People of all ages are embracing the digital nomad lifestyle around the world. But perhaps the biggest hurdle to kicking off this lifestyle is getting a fully remote job that lets you travel the world while you work. And there may be subtle biases during the hiring process that you need to be aware of.

Legally, hiring managers are not allowed to discriminate against any applicant based on age. But, we don’t live in a perfect world, and implicit biases exist, whether we like it or not.

In this episode, Marisa discusses the specific ways hiring managers may disqualify your application based on your age. Marisa then walks you through practical steps you can take to ensure that your age does NOT become a factor during the hiring practice.

Ideally you wouldn’t need these techniques, but the reality is that this is something we have to deal with. Using these specific tactics you will learn how to ensure that your age is not a factor, and you get hired based on your qualifications and merit.
