Playing since 2005, Felipe Lira is one of the biggest names in Brazil. His charisma and professionalism rapidly captivated the public and producers from the scene. In 2006 he received an invitation which would change his career: he became resident DJ at The Week Rio de Janeiro where he remained for two years. He left to the “Cidade Maravilhosa” (The Marvelous City, the nickname given to Rio) where he immediately identified himself with the Carioca soul and spirit. At this point, Felipe had consolidated his career and performed at the country’s main events, he was rated top DJ of the GLS scene and was elected by DOM readers as “DJ of the Year” (2008). It was not long before he took the jump from Rio de Janeiro to rest of the world, as the first international gigs became a reality. His absurd technique, the constant but perfectly adequate and precise use of effects, the insertion of acapellas that rescue an infinite amount of memories and almost forgotten musical experiences, allied to an innate passion for the live creation of mash ups and incredibly surprising tracks transform his presentations into real Live Sets. His appeal has stirred madness on the dancefloor in places like Montreal, Mykonos, Madrid, Toronto, Isla Margarita, Caracas, China, Bogotá, Vancouver, Buenos Aires, Miami, Chile, Hawaii, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Mexico City and New York. Today considered one of the most talented DJs from Brazil, Felipe is the latest Brazilian bet on the world stage.
