A fun rock record is what Dinosaur Pile Up set out to achieve and ackomplished just that with their latest album "Celebrity Mansions". Lyrically, the album chronicals the bands struggles to break through. Musically, they wanted to make a fun record that you would put on at a party and grab a beer. We all have those vivid memories or living them out right now. An album you can put onto unwind and forget about lifes worries. Matt Bigland, lead vocalist of Dinosaur Pile Up is the special guest on this episode of the DOMKcast. He went in depth about what "Celebrity Mansions" means to him. Currently on the road right now with Shinedown and Badflower-Matt says they're enjoying their experience with those guys. Siting Brent Smith as such a wildly positive dude. He explained the story behind how they came up with their name Dinosaur Pile Up-finding their inspiration in the King Kong remake. They're new song "Back Foot" has a bit of rap cadensce to it. Where did Matt find the inspiration to that? You'll be surprised. Hear the full conversation with Matt Bigland of Dinosaur Pile Up on episode 109 of the DOMKcast. #DOMKRocks
