CD 1655 Forgoing Fruitlessness

August 4, 2024 P.M. Service

In this uncertain world we all need something solid to base our lives upon! We must know the promises of the Bible in order to have a vision, a Bible hope for something better in the worst of times! Let the lies be seen for what they are and the spirit of fear behind them! As a Blood bought child of God you have fruit in your DNA, in your destiny!

*Text: Psalms 1:1-3 (KJV)

John 15:1-3,7-8 KJVS

I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. [2] Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. [3] Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. [7] If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. [8] Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

*See Matthew 21:1,17-22 KJVS

And when they drew nigh unto Jerusalem, and were come to Bethphage, unto the mount of Olives, then sent Jesus two disciples, [17] And he left them, and went out of the city into Bethany; and he lodged there. [18] Now in the morning as he returned into the city, he hungered. [19] And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away. [20] And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away! [21] Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. [22] And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
