The band's number-one Billboard hit “Closing Time" was released on March 10, 1998, as the first single from the trio’s second album, and for months into years, till now, you’ve heard it on mainstream radio and in every bar/club on the planet at the end of every night!

Jake, stopped by the studio only three days home after a month-long tour, the band's first in twenty years, to chat about the road, teaching writing as a professor at Sarah Lawrence College, the band’s rise and successful career, and more.
