It would be the first time the Western Allies pit themselves in their new ways of war, against the Axis, setting the foundation for their future assaults. This episode, the British Army’s fortunes take a drastic U-Turn. One of the most charismatic , egoistical but aggressive and talented commanders, Erwin Rommel arrives in North Africa to take command. Capitalizing on a slow enemy and their longer supply lines, the British are on the run. However, I’s not the only thing happening around the area, as U-turns are all over. Join us as we unravel the complexities of desert warfare, the logistical challenges faced by both sides, and the significant impact these battles had on the broader context of World War II.
