Personal Development Inspires Creativity with Rebecca Bertoldi (episode 358)
Manage episode 452013723 series 3561095
“One can choose to go back toward safety or forward toward growth. Growth must be chosen again and again; fear must be overcome again and again.” – Abraham Maslow
Check Out These Highlights: I was recently interviewed on a podcast, and the host asked me how I continue to grow after so many years in business. This quote hits the nail on the head. I feel like I must always be in growth mode because I am afraid most days. The fear could be of not delivering for my clients, recording a show where my energy is off, or when I am learning something new and afraid, I will look like a fraud. Yes, I, too, have imposter syndrome with a record player that raises the volume of my negative self-talk more than I’d like. The more we discuss this topic of fear and the need for ongoing growth, the easier it becomes for all of us to try things out to find the secret sauce that will work for us.
