"I have decision fatigue!"

These were the words my Home Design 101 student, Susan, said when we were talking about her couch. Decision Fatigue is when you are so overwhelmed with the myriad of choices in front of you that you don't know how to narrow it down in order to make a design decision.
Turns out, Susan does NOT have decision fatigue. She knows EXACTLY what she wants. Why? How? Susan is learning to understand her unique design style and she's applying that style to the decision surrounding her couch. What's the problem then? The problem is that we haven't looked long enough for a couch that meets her aesthetic. I have full confidence that we'll find it.

In this behind the scenes look at Office Hours inside of Home Design 101, Susan has several other ah-ha moments. Those teeny tiny side tables she inherited from her parents. They hold a lot of power. So much power that they are dictating bigger decisions like which dining table to purchase. How can something that small have so much power? We talk about it inside Office Hours and we're inviting you in on the conversation.
