Kimberly Phipps-Nichol is a transplant to Houston, and is thrilled to call Houston home for almost 8 years. She is a registered commercial interior designer who owns Blue Water Studio where she designs healthy, high-performance workplaces and inspiring public spaces. Kimberly also owns Houston Hemporium with her husband, where they specialize in organic, curated CBD products and all things Hemp, including textiles and building materials. And finally, Kimberly is a partner in RoKi Design, an accessory company specializing in silk scarves with a purpose and unique wearable art made from upcycled vintage scarves and textiles. Kimberly is a wife to a native Houstonian and bonus mom to a boisterous and ever curious 11 year old boy. Her addiction to textiles and love of sewing has kept her businesses afloat during the pandemic. What started as making and donating face mask covers to healthcare workers turned in to a whole new business line for two of her companies when the healthcare professionals who received donations started asking if they could buy her masks for family and friends.
