At Home, Gerber, Danko and Burke look back at the Guardians first winning week since March, the return of Aaron Civale and Triston McKenzie to the rotation and the timing of the (maybe inevitable) Shane Bieber trade before looking ahead to another tough week of games against the Red Sox and the Astros. On the Road (22:55), the Guys start by looking back at game one of the NBA Finals and the keys to the Nugget’s win. Recording during the game, the Guys debate who will win game 2 and the results are (unfortunately) typical for their general level of predictions. Next, the Guys head back to school to talk College Softball World Series, softball rules the MLB should consider implementing and their predictions for the semi-final round (they got some of these right!). After that, the Guys hit some summer hot takes about baseball and the NFL. Before heading Off the Field (41:06), the Guys make their first ever call to the bullpen, sending Tommy to the showers and welcoming Co Host Chuck Rambaldo to the show for the final segment and the Ted Lasso finale. The Guys talk cheesy field good moments, Ted’s journey, the real main character and what they will miss the most … all while in the dark because of an unscheduled power outage.
