In the moonlit white forest,
I am burrowing into tree roots
where many cicadas will emerge.

This is the image of me as I reach my final metamorphosis
from thinking too many thoughts of you.
In the moonlit frozen forest,
I am an insect woman drinking tree sap.

When at last
you finally notice me
with my amber stomach,
the girl who transformed into an insect,
parasitized by a strange grass
growing stems of sorrow from her amber back.
