In this episode with kids’ yoga and mindfulness teacher, mentor and coach, Abby Wilber, we get into the spiritual journey, self-growth, and how to be human as we mindfully raise the younger generations.

Topics include:

  • Abby’s own journey of learning how to trust in herself, her body, and the unknown, as she navigated young adulthood and becoming a yoga instructor
  • Abby’s own changing beliefs around self-development and the Law of Attraction
  • How our self-growth journeys can support us, and how the ego can also upgrade to keep us in old patterns
  • The balance between acceptance, compassion and the need for boundaries
  • How to model healthy self-awareness and support children to be their own problem-solvers while acknowledging the difficulty of parenthood, and
  • The importance of knowing that there’s no one way to do spirituality – that, ultimately, you are your own expert on this path.

More about Abby:

Her passion is to teach people life skills that are often overlooked in schools to support their mental health and wellbeing.

She coaches adults who feel lost in the world to feel more connected with themselves, their purpose and the world around them by examining and rewriting the beliefs they hold about themselves, understanding their biological limitations as human beings and building resiliency through mindfulness.

She teaches kids yoga and mindfulness and mentors new kids yoga/mindfulness teachers to develop confidence and skills to navigate challenges in and outside the classroom.

You can find her on Insight Timer where she offers free mindfulness practices.

Abigail cohosts the Anxiety Warriors Podcast- a podcast dedicated to advocating for anxiety and mental health awareness.
