Now, Gordon Lightfoot wrote and sang the song “The Wreck of the Edmond Fitzgerald” but Ray was there that fateful day on the SS Arthur Anderson following that doomed ship. In this interview, Ray talks about what it was like on his first voyage out of the Merchant Marine Academy.
