In this episode, we explore the Book of Ben Sira with Dr. Panc Beentjes, who shares the importance and nuance of studying the Hebrew manuscripts of the book. Dr. Beentjes is Professor Emeritus of Tilburg School of Catholic University in the Netherlands. He has written a number of books and approximately 200 academic articles, most focusing on the important book of Ben Sira. One of his most important books is “The Book of Ben Sira in Hebrew” which presented the precise layout of the Hebrew of the various manuscripts for the first time in book form.
