Welcome to Mothering Monday, sweet mamas! Today, we will explore the life-changing power of praying for our children as they head into a new school year. There is truly no greater gift we can offer our children than the covering of our prayers. As E.M. Bounds so beautifully reminds us, “Prayers are deathless. They outlive the lives of those who uttered them.” When we pray, our love and faith extend far beyond today, reaching into the lives of our great-great-grandchildren.

Scripture tells us, “The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective” (James 5:16b, NIV). Together, we’ll talk about simple, heartfelt ways to lift up our children in prayer daily, trusting that each prayer is held close by our Heavenly Father, who lovingly guides their futures. Let’s commit to this precious calling and watch how God moves in their lives.
