In this chapter, Iorek and Will arrive at the cave where Lyra is being kept and meet Ama, who tells them that Mrs Coulter is keeping her in an enchanted sleep. Will speaks to Mrs Coulter who tells him why she is keeping Lyra captive, but is she telling the truth? Chevvy and Sally hatch their dragonflies and fly on ahead of the CCD’s zeppelins to help protect Lyra.
