In the South, Pentecost is associated with a group of people who are known for speaking in tongues, which some people call it gibberish, who raise their hands while singing in church, pray out loud and have the nick name of “holy rollers”.What is Pentecost? Where did it originate? What is the meaning of Pentecost in the New Testament? What is its meaning today? As a Pentecostal church it is good for us to define it and understand it.
