This show kicks off with new music from Ruth Moody who has released her first album 'Wanderer' in 11 years. I follow that with 3 2024 tunes from Dead Nettle, an indie folk artist from Santa Cruz, CA. My Wax Lyrical segment here features each side of the vinyl classic Australian album from 1981 'Prayers On Fire' by The Birthday Party - one of Nick Cave's early bands. This show's theme is National Reconciliation Week which concludes 3 June with it's crucial theme ."Now More Than Ever". Current indigenous featured include Alice Skye, BLKMPIRE, Budjerah, Emily Wurramara, Fred Leone, Kakadu Collective, MARLON, RONA., Victor Rostron, RUULA and Sycco - and there's always room for Kev Carmody. I close the show with Quivers in the lead up to their Beechworth show on 15 June.
