Jeez, why can't those trade wars just get settled? Trump has kept up with tariffs and demands and the market just keeps going in a seesaw fashion every other day and week. How to respond? To make it easier, tonight I'll go over a strategy to "set it and forget it" Ronco style. That style is called the 401k portfolio by using four basic ETFs in Fidelity's plaform that will trade commission free: ITOT - all shares 500 S&P ETF HDV - high dividend ETF FUTY - utility ETF IJJ - mid cap value ETF Scale into any amount with these four positions and you'll be happy in the coming years with low risk, dividends, and stable growth.
