Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their master, as the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress; so our eyes look to The Lord, our God, until he has mercy on us.”

DEVOTION
Based on Psalm 123
Tonight’s psalm paints a picture of trust and dependence on God. Just as a servant looks to their master for provision and care, we are called to fix our eyes on the Lord, waiting patiently for His mercy. In moments of uncertainty or need, our hope is in Him, knowing that His timing and care are always perfect.
Take a moment to still your heart and lift your eyes to the Lord. Breathe out impatience or doubt, and breathe in trust and surrender. Fix your gaze on Him, and wait with confidence, knowing that His mercy will meet you right where you are.
A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
ADORATION: Praise God for being our merciful and faithful provider. Rejoice in His constant care and His unfailing attention to our needs. Celebrate the beauty of His mercy and grace.
CONFESSION: Reflect on moments when impatience or doubt caused you to look away from God. Confess your struggles and seek a renewed focus on His presence and promises.
THANKSGIVING: Thank God for His faithfulness in times of waiting. Praise Him for the mercy He has shown in the past and the assurance that His care never wavers.
SUPPLICATION: Father, I lift my eyes to You and wait for Your mercy. Help me trust Your timing and provision. Teach me to rely fully on You, knowing Your care is perfect. Let my heart find peace in Your presence tonight.

Dear God, tonight, as I untether myself from the world’s burdens, I anchor myself in Your love. When the chaos of life has shaken me, I know I can rely on You to be a firm foundation. Before my eyelids descend and sleep takes over, I want to gaze upon Your grace and look to You for guidance. Give me clarity for tomorrow and a vision for conquering the day. Give me comfort for tonight, and allow me to fold into Your arms. Unburden me from the weight of my sins, remind me that I am forgiven, and give me rest in Your mercy. Would You also empower me for the day ahead and fuel me with purpose? I trust You to do all these things and more. In Jesus’ name, Amen.🙏🏾
