In this final episode of the Black Gods series, Ma'asehyahu Isra-Ul speaks with Dr. Fatimah Fanusie (Howard Thurman Historical Home Historian and scholar of African American Islamic history) about the influence of the Ahmadiyya movement on the Nation of Islam in America. Dr. Fanusie discusses partial aspects of her dissertation and current research, documenting historical and religious nuances in the theology of the early Nation of Islam which highlight Ahmadiyya influence. Why are terms like "colored man" or "poison book" found in the early writings of the Ahmdiyya decades before they are uncovered in early Nation of Islam writings of the 1930's? Could W.F. Muhammad (Fard Muhammad) actually have been an Indian follower of Ahmadiyya Islam who broke off to create his own stream of Islam for American Blacks? Get your notepads ready. Some of the answers are alluded to here...but you have to do your own research to verify! You do not want to miss this final episode if you are a fan of the Black Gods series! --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/leadingbyhistory/support
