World Press Photo - at the Château de Prangins

World Press Photo is a collection of press photographs that tell the story of the most pressing news from last year, including sport and current events, told through images. The subjects range from refugee tragedies and natural disasters to the joint international effort to save the monarch butterfly from extinction. The exhibition is a look back at the global events of 2023 and allows the viewer to take a step back from the fast-moving news cycle, consider world events from a fresh perspective, and critically reflect on them.
What is now 130 photographs that make up the exhibition, started as 61'000 photos submitted by over 3'800 photographers. This exhibition shows the winning selection. The exhibit is on display at the Château de Prangins until 5 January 2025. Entry is just CHF 13, kids up to 16 go free.
Swiss Press Photo is also on at the Château de Prangins now until 2 February 2025.
