On today's edition of the Locked On FLORIDA Panthers Podcast, Armando Velez(@Mandoman12) brought in Nich Fairbanks(@Prudentia0) for another edition of Fairbanks Friday to recap the Panthers' 6-2 win over the Nashville Predators, where the Panthers got on the scoresheet quickly and took it over from there with organized play in all three zones. Puck support truly helped the Panthers get out in transition. Sam Reinhart and Aleksander Barkov set the tone with gaining the zone with ease to start, it eventually ended up with Reinhart finding the back of the net, which was the start of what would be a route in Sunrise. Evan Rodrigues stayed hot with his third straight game with a goal, Carter Verhaeghe notched two on the evening after a recent discussion on how snakebitten he's been throughout the early portion of the season. Florida was able to not allow a shot by Filip Forsberg, Jonathan Marchessault and Gustav Nyqvist on the evening. Panthers got eight power play opportunities, converting on two against the leagues best penalty kill unit. Paul Maurice got win number 104 as the Panthers bench boss, where he is now seven games away from passing Jacques Martin for the winningest coach in Panthers History.
