He wrote the literal book on TNG in the 90's, is a consultant for a myriad of things Trek (including the loved and lamented "Star Trek: The Experience" in Las Vegas), played a bit of McCoy on one of the better Star Trek fan films, and now rummages through Gene Roddenberry's file cabinets for "The Trek Files" podcast.
