Inclusion, while people aren’t sitting next to one another, is hard…but shouldn’t be (and isn’t!) impossible. In this episode of Mouthwash we’re exploring what it takes to be inclusive in a distributed world along with what the issues are if we don’t keep our eye on the ball. Expect some hard truths and some actionable insights from an expert who is blazing the way for the next generation.

ABOUT DANIELLE (@Badassery_HQ)

Danielle Letayf (she/her) is obsessed with making the world a more connected and inclusive place through community, cultural experiences, and events.

She’s currently the CEO & Founder of Badassery, a marketplace for event organizers to book their perfect speaker in minutes. She’s on a mission to amplify as many voices as possible, while connecting them to each other along the way. In her past life she ran global community at Shine, a brand that makes it easier to take care of yourself. Previously, she was on the founding team as Head of Programs and Community for BUILT BY GIRLS, a social impact brand that’s creating the new wave of tech leaders—who just happen to be teen girls. She expanded the community from 5 to over 15,000 around the country through internships, competitions, events and digital experiences. She created unique programs like Girls Who Fund, an apprentice-based program that shows girls the ins and outs of being an entrepreneur and venture capitalist, and the #BUILTBYGIRLS Challenge, a nationwide pitch competition for tech projects built by girls and judged by girls that she ran with Michelle Obama in 2016.

Danielle graduated from Boston University with a degree in marketing and business administration, and was voted one of 50 game-changing AOL/Verizon women at the MAKERS Conference. She’s also been selected for founder programs through Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center and The Fund.
