નાનપણ માં એકવાર જયારે થોમસ સ્કૂલે થી ઘરે પહોંચ્યો ત્યારે અને માતા ને કહ્યું કે મારા શિક્ષકે મને આ લેટર આપ્યો છે ને કહ્યું છે કે માતા જ આ વાંચે.

લેટર વાંચી ને માતાના આંખ માં આંશુ આવી ગયા અને તેને જોરથી એ લેટર પોતાના આ બાળક ને વાંચી ને સઁભળાવા લાગી.

" તમારો છોકરો બહુ જ જીનિયસ છે અને અમારી સ્કૂલ બહુ નાની છે. એને ભણવા માટે અમારી પાસે સારા શિક્ષક પણ નથી એટલે તમે એને ઘરે જ ભણાવો."

માતા ના અવસાન બાદ થોડા વર્ષો પછી થોમસ બહુ મોટો વૈજ્ઞાનિક બન્યો અને પાછળ થી એને બલ્બ જેવી મહાન શોધ કરી.

એક દિવસ એની માતા ના છેલ્લા સામાન માંથી થોમસ ને એ જ લેટર મળે છે જે નાનપણ માં એને શિક્ષક એ આપ્યો હતો અને એમાં લખ્યું હતું કે " તમારો છોકરો બુદ્ધિ થી બહુ કમજોર છે અમે એને ભણાવી શકતા નથી અને અમે એને શાળા માંથી કાઢી રહ્યા છે "

અને પછી થોમસે ઈમોશનલ થઈ ને પોતાની ડાયરી માં લખ્યું કે હું એક કમજોર છોકરો હતો પરંતુ મારી માતા ના એ શબ્દો એ મને સદી નો સૌથી જીનિયસ માણસ બનાવી દીધો.

Once in his childhood when Thomas reached home from school and told his mother that my teacher had given me this letter and said that only mother should read it.

After reading the letter, tears came to the mother's eyes and she began to read the letter loudly to her child.

"Your boy is a genius, and our school is very small. We don't even have good teachers to teach him so you should teach him at home."

A few years after his mother's death, Thomas became a great scientist and later made great inventions like the light bulb.

One day, in his mother's last belongings, Thomas finds the same letter that his teacher gave him as a child, and it says, "Your boy is so weak in intellect that we cannot teach him, and we are taking him out of school."

And then Thomas got emotional and wrote in his diary that "I was a weak boy, but my mother's words made me the genius of the century."
