Jennifer Gomez: Prior-service Marine, President of the veterans' fraternity Sigma Omega Delta, full-time student at California State University Sacramento, a staff member of the Veterans Success Center, and full-time employee. In this episode, Jennifer discusses her transition from the Marine Corps, how she overcame the loneliness of not being surrounded by fellow Marines, and how she helps serve the veteran community on the CSU Sacramento campus. Furthermore, she provides details on how she is using Chapter 31 (Veteran Readiness and Employment) benefits to fund her bachelor's degree education costs while saving her Chapter 33 (Post-911 GI Bill) benefits for a graduate degree.
