"We all remember John Adams commenting, 'This Constitution was made for a moral and religious people and is suitable for none other.' Well, he could have just as easily said, " This Constitution was made for an informed and knowledgeable people and is suitable for none other.' We do not have a knowledgeable population; the information is available to anyone who is so inclined. But people are not so inclined. They are ignorant; they do not possess the knowledge... they are self-absorbed and lazy. They do not want to be bothered with living in a free society."

Bio: Don Williams is a conservator, educator, scholar and all-around inquisitive guy, having worked on some of the most interesting objects and historic buildings in our nation's public and private collections. He has developed, managed and presented educational programming on an array of subjects in the fields of conservation, woodworking and wood finishing, and has published and presented scholarly research on subjects like ancient coating materials and craft techniques, and created pioneering uses for traditional and modern materials, including some of his own invention.
In his spare time he passionately pursues his varied interests, including economics, metal casting, collecting obscure books and tools, Japanese gardening and faith, all of which usually occur against a backdrop of jazz or podcast lectures on various arcane topics.

Brian Wilson is a nationally-known radio and television host, author, speaker, and consultant with more than 50 years experience in media as host, News/Program Director, and Owner. His periodic scribblings can be found on Substack and his website.
