Jamie Greaves is a British Strength and Conditioning Coach and the Founder of JG Golf Fitness. He works with golfers of all ages and abilities, from Tour winners to beginners the game. Jamie's training philosophy is that no matter a golfer's skill level, creative ways can be forged to a enhance their game, overall fitness and health.

Jamie joins #OntheMark to help you find, and improve your "Top End" and "Cruising" Clubhead Speeds with the Driver.

In so doing he discusses and demonstrates three easy "Med-ball" exercises to improve speed:

  1. Single Arm Med-ball Push
  2. Half-Kneel Rotational Slam
  3. Rotate and Stop Med-ball Drill

He also shares his four steps to more speed:

  1. No Ball Training
  2. Power Hitting into a Net
  3. Mindsets for Taking Speed to the Range
  4. On-course Radar Testing to convert Range Speed under pressure

Jamie also talks about various misconceptions to gaining speed and power, what factors correlate to an increase and speed and power, the value of purpose and intent in training, the mindset for power work, and replacing effort for speed.
