Esther: The Hidden Workings of God - Living Sacrificially - Brian Barr

Are you willing to be used by God, even if it’s a risk to your position, status, influence or income? Following Jesus is a recognition that our lives are meant to be poured out for others. This week, Brian Barr continued our series through the book of Esther looking at the pivotal moment when Esther agrees to go before the king to save her people. While the name of God isn't mentioned in the book, God’s activity is undeniable. God placed Esther in a place of prominence - with fame, beauty, favor and wealth - to be strategically used to save her people. Likewise, we are strategically placed by God in our workplaces, neighborhoods and families to be used by God and to live sacrificially for those around us. We follow Jesus’ example of great sacrifice on our behalf and extend His love and care for others.
