Welcome back to another episode of Permission to Offend. Today, I am talking about dealing with some professionally devastating news. Back in 2020, I was offered a 6 figure book deal with one of the top 3 global publishers. Prior to this offer I really manifested this dream, I hired a book coach, I worked hard to write my proposal and I took faith-filled intentional action. Unfortunately, a series of hurdles popped up including having to change editors and push back my publication date past 2022. I am not saying all this to vent (though this helps), instead, I want to share with you what all of these setbacks actually mean to me. What I want to ask you is, are the problems actually problems or is there another perspective you can adopt and pivot from? 3 Reasons You Should Listen to Today's Episode
  • Practicing faith-filled intentional action
  • Realizing your dreams , fearing the worst and not feeling like you can do it
  • Why the setbacks can make you stronger even if you don’t want to believe it
