Joining hosts Letty Butler and Stephen Mellor, as they respond live, against the clock, to a series of writing prompts, as well as discussing the highs and lows and challenges of being a writer, how to haunt your readers, and why it is so hard to say ‘I’m a writer.’ Oh, and Conor disrupts the prompts with the most succinct response to the 3 minute prompt ever.

In this episode the pre-prepared prompt was taken from the twitter account @itstimetowrite, and was ‘go to your bookshelf, pull out a red book, turn to page 32, the first noun on the page is your character’s worse fear, the last word is their best defence.’ The live three minute prompt was ‘someone keeps sending you severed heads of birds.’ The final one minute prompt was ‘describe an orange to someone who’s never seen one.’
