Maria started out in the classroom years before writing ten books. She loved getting powerful messages into the world through realistic fiction and saw a need to have more diverse books for children. So much that she began Cardinal Rule Press in 2015. There Maria uses her experiences as an award-winning author to work with writers on getting their messages into the world. She takes pride in mentoring Cardinal Rule Press authors and offering a customized marketing campaign that her team coordinates and implements.
