Almighty God is capable of equipping His saints with the Truth only if they will listen to it and do it. Faith without corresponding actions is dead – useless, powerless. Jesus said in His prayer for His disciples, “sanctify them (set them apart as your peculiar people) by the Truth. Your Word is Truth” (John 17:17). When his disciples asked Jesus to increase their faith amidst the challenges of their lives, we must remember the Biblical solution to that need. Paul made it clear in Romans 10:17 that “faith comes by hearing, and (specifically) by hearing the word of Christ (the Messiah – God’s anointed only Redeemer of all mankind). And the Lord said, “Hear what the unrighteous judge said; now, will not God bring about justice for His elect who cry to Him day and night, and will He delay long over them? I tell you that He will bring about justice for them quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find (the) faith on the earth?” Luke 18:6-8
