I wanted to interview Erin because she has such a powerful story of Soul Recovery. A cancer diagnosis at 38 years old in 2019 offered her choice. Stay where she was in life that was easy and good or listen to her heart and follow her deepest desires and live her best life? I have been inspired by her journey and how she has allowed Higher Power to lead her along the way to live her best life.
As mentioned in the episode, her new path has lead her to become a Death and Dying Doula and Teacher. The class I took with her called "Best Three Months" helped me to make big changes in my life in the spring of 2022 as well as think about and talk about death in new ways. To learn more about Erin, her class schedules and other offerings - follow her on Instagram at Centered Purpose or visit her website https://centeredpurpose.podia.com/ https://www.instagram.com/centeredpurpose/
Early detection of breast cancer has allowed Erin to be living her best life. Erin sent me this information, and said she followed https://www.drnasha.com Dr. Nasha Winters. I worked with a Naturopathic Oncologist as well as my regular oncologist which I thought was a Godsend. Some books I loved were The Cancer Fighting Kitchen (a cookbook) and Radical Remission...I feel like this book is really connected to soul work. It focuses on nine themes that the author has found to be connected with spontaneous cancer remission... Having had breast cancer, I would also just encourage people to do self exams and keep up with mammograms.

  1. Changing your diet
  2. Taking control of your health
  3. Following your intuition
  4. Using herbs and supplements
  5. Releasing suppressed emotions
  6. Increasing positive emotions
  7. Embracing social support
  8. Deepening your spiritual connection
  9. Having strong reasons for living
