Welcome to the Pining For Pixels podcast! This is my video game variety show podcast, part of the Red Rooster's Gaming Coop network where I talk gaming and gaming culture every week. Each episode will feature a subject or theme that interests me, and I will speak about what is on my mind in the world of video games!
A return of the Versus Mode segment! I am pitting 2 recent open world games against one another! They both came out on the same day and both brought interesting open world gameplay to players. Which one did it better? That is what we will determine in this week's episode. Both games are great no doubt, but there can be only one winner. Both games surprised me in ways I didn't expect. On paper I wouldn't have thought that pitting these 2 in a Versus Mode segment would make sense until I spent some time with each game, and also considering their release proximity to one another.
