275 | Desperate Prayers. How to Make Time for Prayer in a Busy Season feat. Rachel Wojo
Manage episode 448914577 series 2885732
Hey CEO-
Do you struggle to find time to PRAY?
I know, I know, as Christian women we know that prayer is important to grow in our relationship WITH God…and let’s be honest it’s the key to everything else in life + biz, but often our hectic schedules and demands on our time, we’re tempted to push prayer to the back burner or to check-the-box status or even completely off the list….
until we find ourselves in a desperate situation and have nowhere else to turn, right?
Here’s the thing- desperation leads to dependence on God, but how much more connected could be if we had a deliberate prayer practice no matter what's going on?
We need to desperately and deliberately depend on the Lord daily through prayer.
And that’s why I’ve invited today’s guest, Rachel Wojo, author of the book Desperate Prayers: Embracing the Power of Prayer in Life’s Darkest Moments to speak to why we need to make time for prayer…
Rachel is an inspirational author, speaker, and podcaster. Through her biblical approach and personal life experiences, Rachel empowers women to discover strength and hope in everyday situations.
What I loved about our conversation is that Rachel reminds us that prayer is not so much about the answer that we seek, but the One whom we seek.
And once we truly understand the power of prayer, I believe we’ll have less challenges making time for it.
And I also have a feeling you’re gonna be praying by the end of this episode.
Come join the conversation over inside the REDEEM Her Time Community
We pray this blesses, challenges and moves you to action!
YOU. HAVE. TIME.
Lissa + Rachel
