Monday—What is John’s chief desire for his readers? (vv. 13-15) How does this shape what he writes and how he prays? How might your prayers need to change to reflect these priorities?

Tuesday—What does it mean to “sin to death”? Is this a particular kind of sin or a refusal to repent? Is anyone ever without hope of forgiveness if their is still breath in their lungs?

Wednesday—What should you pray for most for those you love? Is that what your prayers look like? Who are people in your life whom you should be praying for salvation or returning to the Lord?
