343 had big armor to fill as they took over for Bungie. They made some significant changes to this series, some good, some bad; but mostly, they wound up telling the most emotional Halo story to date. They might've later screwed it up with the sequels, but nothing tops the Chief and Cortana relationship here. Excuse us, there's something in our eyes.
