Manage episode 447336795 series 3520290
What does it take to live out your purpose and build a better life for yourself? In this episode, we sit down with Diana Donovan, a dynamic leader from Jacksonville who has asked herself that same question. Diana is a passionate advocate for the arts, and she’s on a mission to make them more accessible across Jacksonville.
Growing up in inner-city Philadelphia, Diana faced early childhood trauma and adversity. At the age of 12, Diana made a bold decision to advocate for herself in the legal system, seeking the opportunity to live with relatives in Vermont. She knew that to create a different life, she needed to be in a new community. That decision changed the course of her life, eventually leading her to Jacksonville University and a flourishing career championing the arts.
In this episode, we explore how Diana overcame immense challenges to bring love and connection into the world through art. Her journey is one of resilience, purpose, and transformation. Join us on Rethreading Lives to hear Diana’s inspiring story and her continued impact on Jacksonville.
