Dr. Timothy Filston is the Senior Pastor at First Presbyterian Church in Thomasville, Georgia. Tim describes his testimony as having three phases: Rules, Rebel Repentance. Tim's rambunctious behavior leads to a dangerous accident that could have taken his life & that of the passengers in his car. His life and that of his family would take a very sad turn when his brother was killed in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. A bus crash would nearly take Tim's life in 1999. Tim's wife would be diagnosed with cancer in 2020. Throughout these trials, Tim has learned that God is not a "gumball machine" but is a loving Father who "uses our life to perfect our faith". Tim has great wisdom from his trials and shares valuable insights that will help you in your own walk. Get ready to take notes and be encouraged!
