A LEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE PODCAST

On January 20, 2000, Lee County Sheriff's Office Deputies were on routine patrol of an area called Moon Lake when they discovered a partially mummified body. That body was 36 year-old Bonita Springs resident Denise Long. Denise's body had multiple stab wounds and showed signs being badly beaten.

Denise long had a history of drug abuse and was last seen in December of 1999. There are many witnesses in this case that have passed away or we need to locate. Please listen closely to this podcast as you or someone you know may have just one piece of information that could lead to the closure of the Denise Long case.

If you have any information regarding this case, please call the Lee County Sheriff’s Office at (239) 477-1000 or report it anonymously to SWFL Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477). All callers to Crime Stoppers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward.
