Episode Synopsis: After Bender realizes he has no power over the decisions he makes, he goes on a soul searching trip to liberate himself from the shackles of his pre-deterministic operation system.
On this show:
- Gabe and Luke compare Westworld’s treatment of free will with Futurama’s
- Gabe does his amazing impression of the robot guard on Capek-9
- Luke proposes an alternative where other Planet Express crew members accompany Bender on his journey
- Luke argues that Bender is acting uncharacteristically focused in the beginning … which perhaps points to him having free will?
- Luke and Gabe choose the same character for their favorite quotes.
