In this installment, Jha discusses the implications of the presidential election last week and what he anticipates from President-elect Joe Biden’s coronavirus task force, which is co-chaired by a former surgeon general, a former FDA commissioner, and an associate dean at the Yale School of Medicine.
Jha also talks about the Pfizer vaccine – the safety and efficacy issues, the logistics of manufacture and distribution, and who will get the vaccine first and who later if it receives emergency use authorization.
