Congressional staffers may not be the first group to come to mind when thinking about unsung heroes of trauma. However, Congressional staffers work on the front lines - talking with constituents, listening to their stories, hearing about their needs, and responding to their concerns.

A native of El Paso, Texas, Eduardo was raised along the U.S.-Mexico border. Since 2019, he has been working in his hometown as Congresswoman Veronica Escobar’s Chief of Staff. Eduardo has nearly 15 years of invaluable experience in Congress, having navigated complex national and local issues, from natural disasters to the nation’s growing gun violence epidemic.
