First, the plaintiff says he hired the defendant, a lawyer, to represent him in a case against his neighbor about a noisy air conditioner. The man took his money and never did a thing, so he’s suing for his money back. The defendant says the erratic plaintiff never gave him a chance to complete the work. He refuses to give him a refund and is countersuing for harassment

Then, the plaintiff says the defendant watched his cat for a week, and he left specific instructions on which food to feed him. He says the defendant gave his cat vegan food, and the cat died one day after the plaintiff returned home, so he’s suing. The defendant says he’s not responsible for the cat’s death, and he’s countersuing for harassment.
