In this episode, I have the privilege of speaking with Leonie, a pregnancy loss, bereavement and end- of-life doula. Leonie offers support to families who have experienced the loss of a child, however young, due to miscarriage, stillbirth, or at any time of life.

Leonie's own experience of loss inspires her compassionate and intuitive manner to offer families 'permission to feel' in their own way, and at their own pace, embrace memories and love, understand grief and normalise their emotions.

Leonie says, "As a Loss Doula and peer, I offer reassurance, support, and resources. I'm here to walk alongside you, holding space with empathy and understanding, during this difficult time".

This episode is released on October 15, being Pregnancy & Infant Loss Remembrance Day as my way of bringing awareness, remembrance and recognition to families who have loved and lost a child, and to bring light to the support available at such a sensitive time.

All my genuine love to those who have loved, and continue to love, a family member that is no longer here. There is no expiry date for grief, so if listening to this episode has raised big or unresolved feelings, or in need of further support, please do not hesitate to reach out to myself, or Leonie, and be sure to make contact with the organisations and resources in the show notes.
